Collection: Aero collection

Premium triathlon and cycling gear aimed to be as aerodynamic as possible. With close collaboration with proffesional athletes such as Kristian Blummenfelt and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, the collection was engineered to match both the challenging conditions in the triathlon course and on the cycling track.

The Aero Tri Speedsuit was originally developed on the back of our Aero project for cycling where we, together with scientists at NTNU, tested a vast number of different qualities and placements in a wind tunnel to determine how to make the fastest cycling suit on the market.

Based on the research above, all materials for this suit were strategically chosen, tested, and placed to enhance movability and reduce restrictions both on the road and in the water.‌

Structured aerodynamic material in sleeves with extreme movability. This material breaks through the wind better than other non-structured material, while retaining absolute movability when swimming.‌ Torso is covered using a compressive and quick dry material with a hydrophilic treatment for best drive in the water and perfect shedding the water on the bike and run.

The suit has two ergonomically placed back pockets for gels and other necessities. Openings from the sides to prevent drag in the water. Grip tapings at legs to retain placement and comfort of suit during the race. ‌The suit is designed and developed in Norway, with all Italian fabrics and made at our own certified operation centre in Estonia.

Aero Speedsuit

The record breaker! We proudly present the Aero Tri Speedsuit. Proven to be the world's fastest 70.3 triathlon suit. Kristian “Blu” Blummenfelt made this triathlon suit the fastest tri suit in the world when he in 2018 broke the WR in the 70.3 distance, only to repeat the feat at the World Championship in Bahrain in 2019. A record that is still standing at 3:25:21.

Developed with Blummenfelt

This suit has been developed step by step together with Kristian. Continuously improving aerodynamics and adding new performance enhancing features to push the limits of what’s possible.

Top athletes who are also racing in Aero Tri Speedsuit are Olympian Lisa Norden and Maurice Clavel. Also, our ambassador Hans Christian Tungesvik claimed the long-distance world title in Norseman 2019 in this suit!

In June 2022, the Aero speedsuit 3.0 won Best on Test in the triathlon magazine 220Triathlon.

The front

Extreme structured, aerodynamic, and elastic fabric on shoulders with superior performance both in the water and in TT-position.‌

Cyber Ride Stripe fabric at thighs and hips for optimized drag performance.‌

Optimized side ventilation for excellent movement, comfort, and temperature control.‌

Extended arm and leg lengths to enhance the reduction of drag.‌

Long zip for increased comfort and temperature ventilation.

The back

Main fabric at the chest and back is a thin quick-dry fabric with fantastic water repellent qualities. It also has excellent elasticity and shape retention.‌

Quick access pocket solution on the back with two elastic inlets, one on each side, makes access to bars and gels easier than ever.‌

The striped fabric at hips and thighs is placed here to hinder drag both in water and on the bike.‌

The padding in Aero Tri Speedsuit is developed with our long-time partner Cytech. Together we made and especially adapted this pad for long distance racing.

The Aero 3.0 speedsuit can be found in the Blummenfelt x Trimtex collection in Kristian Blummenfelt's own design. Read more about Kristian Blummenfelt's collection here.

Aero Shirt & Bib Shorts

Premium cycling kit aimed to be as aerodynamic as possible by using wind tunnel tested fabrics for speed and breathability. The shirt is environmentally friendly, sustainable produced using 90% of recycled fabrics. ‌The shorts have world-leading and newly developed high-end padding from Elastic Interface, which ensures extreme comfort and protection in the saddle. .

Aero Bib Shorts

The shorts have world-leading and newly developed high-end padding from Elastic Interface, which ensures extreme comfort and protection in the saddle. The ultra-long-distance pad comes with an uniquely perforated foam underlayer that offers optimal breathability and superior endurance comfort.

We know that next-to-skin comfort is important, and the bib straps has clean-cut elastic band. The band is woven tightly with a smooth surface to avoid chafing and to ensure complete comfort.‌

The three pockets on the back also have a special new design to minimize wind resistance. Spacious enough for accessories, tools and nutrition.

The combination of different foamsand different densities also delivers superior support in the key pressure zones while adhering softly to the athlete’s body.

This product comes with an extremely tight fit. It is made to fit as tight as possible on the body and the fit is often referred to as “second skin”. You should consider going up one size if you are in doubt or your easurements are in-between sizes.

Aero Shirt

The snug, comfortable and aerodynamic fit is ensured by the four-way stretch fabric used for the front and back panel. ‌Research clearly showed that highly structured fabrics on the shoulders, sleeves and thighs clearly improves the aerodynamic qualities. Our golf-ball pattern fabric does exactly that. Reducing drag where the wind hits first and foremost.

Body mapping studies have found the key areas of sweat and heat zones, especially under exercise. According to these findings we inserted panels with an extremely breathable mesh fabric across under the sleeves and on the sides to assist the body keeping its core temperature by letting it sweat as the fabric absorbs and wicks away the moisture to the outside.

Multiple years of research have led to this, in our eyes, perfect combination of fabrics and surface structures that breaks all records when it comes to air resistance. These fabrics are much faster than skin and, therefore, we added as much length as possible on the arms and thighs without interfering with the elbows and knee movement.

Aero TT Speedsuit

We've adapted the concept of our road cycling kit to the needs and requirements of time trial races. Dropping the pockets, adding sleeves on the forearms, changing the fit for the aero position and using a time trial specific pad are the updates we've made.

The sleeves, cuffs and pad

The sleeves and cuffs. The findings in our research suggested to cover as much skin as possible with a fabric rougher on the surface placed in the stream wise direction. A cuff with a silicone grip ensures great fit and snugs around the arms and thighs comfortably.

The pad. First product born with a gender-specific solution for time trial coming from industry leader Elastic Interface. Different foam thicknesses and densities supply adequate protection in main pressure points throughout the perineal area.

Considering time trial is a very short distance race that puts individual cyclists against the clock, the need for a performing chamois that guarantees ultimate stability and comfort to avoid saddle discomfort that can cause loss of concentration and precious seconds is crucial. ‌

For this reason, the design of this pad is extremely essential and slim fitting, enhancing pedal stroke while in the typical aerodynamic position.
