All of us have it, we sense it sometimes, it's deep down rooted in us, a relentless force – the drive to accomplish a goal and to satisfy a craving. An innate, almost biologically determined urge to explore the boundaries of ourselves, getting uncomfortable to grow, challenging our habits to evolve - the drive to simply get better.

Many of us find these tests of ourselves in endurance sports and some of us in the sport of triathlon. It is a whole new world filled with obstacles to grow at, demanding you to rethink your daily life and eventually gets you to a new lifestyle. ‌However this might look like for you, there is always the point to start, the need to set the initial ignition and we want to empower you on your journey to achieve this – our Drive Collection is a part of it.‌

The purpose of the suit is to empower triathletes at all stages of their journey, no matter the distance, level or body shape. The goal was to design a suit with the best possible fit with the best possible value. Our drive at Trimtex is to continuously develop our products, adapt them and being open to take uncompromising decisions. Our Clean Grit models contains 50% or more recycled materials. Our goal is for all our products to be 100% recycled by 2030.

Hydrodynamics
Hydrophobic literally means, the fear of water, and describes the capacity to repel water. The main fabric of the suit has water repelling properties and supports triathletes during the swim by not draging them down or even slowing them down. Not taking water in means also to dry very quickly. Coming wet out of T2 and sitting dropping on the bike will not last very long as the fabric will loose the water again in no time. ‌‌

Flexibility
Three disciplines, different movement patterns, many demands – one sport. Finding the best possible fit is one big compromise. Using very elastic fabrics and placing them in the strategically right panels makes all the difference in your swim stroke, your aero position and running stride. Reducing restrictions in the shoulders let the arms move around easily and allows to tuck down comfortably in your aero bars. We implemented a big panel with an extremely flexible, four-way stretch fabric on the sides to make breathing easier and adapts to your body shape no matter if dry or wet. Enjoy the seamless solution with a new production technology for the sleeves. Clean cuff by not using a silicone grip on the inside without compromising the tight fit with an elastic fabric. Laser cut to ensure longevity and durabilty. Running and riding sets two, very contradictory, demands to each other.

For the perfect aerodynamic position on your road or time trial bike the front panel should be much shorter than the back panel – and evenly long for the run. That's why we used very flexible fabrics to adapt to these two movement patterns.

Drive Speedsuit

Being comfortable in your race suit is what matters the most in the end. We fitted the suit tightly yet giving a little extra to adapt to all body shapes. A super elastic and breathable fabric used in the side panels ensures this comfortable fit.

The front

The long front zipper comes from industry leader YKK and has an 'autolock' function keeping the zipper where you left it. On top, we inserted a zipper garage made from a hydrophobic and comfy fabric to avoid chafing. The inside of the cuffs on the thigh has a non-slip elastic that keeps the suit in place no matter if you're on the bike or out on the run course.

An elastic band across the zipper protects it increases the durability of the zipper as this is a well-known weak spot of tri suits.
